Nourishing Retreat on Dartmoor Hosted by Prince Hall
Prince Hall Country House warmly invites you to spend Easter weekend on retreat with us here on spectacular high Dartmoor. This is a chance to deeply immerse yourself in the healing practices of yoga and the wild beauty of Dartmoor.
Enjoy 6 wonderfully grounding and nourishing yoga sessions across the weekend in our beautiful practice space with majestic views. The holistic yoga practices (for body, mind, and spirit) across the weekend will include early morning breathwork (pranayama) and meditation, energizing yoga flow, deeply restful restorative yoga and deep guided relaxation (yoga Nidra).
You will receive caring tuition and guidance throughout the weekend from renowned local teacher Lauren Groch (Devon School of Yoga) with plenty of time to ask questions about your own practice. Lauren will share her deep love of Dartmoor and her many year's experiences in yoga teaching, practice, and study.
You will be nourished with delicious plant-based meals lovingly prepared by our expert in-house chef and enjoyed together as a group. Luxuriously comfortable, beautifully appointed rooms with expansive views and friendly, family hosts will ensure that your stay is completely relaxing and restorative in every way.
Enjoy wild Dartmoor on the doorstep with time to explore, walk, cycle, river dip or relax in the garden or our historic, beautifully comfortable house.
Come on your own, or come with a friend, a partner or a family member (age 18+). Everybody, from experienced yogis, complete beginners and everybody in between is very welcome and will be well catered for.

Your Retreat Schedule
Friday 10 April
Arrivals from 2.30pm and settle in, explore, meet your teacher. Tea and treats before the opening circle. Arrive and Revive yoga (90 minutes) sunset - delicious plant-based dinner shared as a group. Retreat to the cozy lounge, your luxurious room or outside under the stars and waning moon before a restful nights sleep
Saturday 11 April
Early morning practices, breathwork, meditation (1 hour) with tea and juice. Greet the day energizing yoga flow (90 minutes) then a delicious plant-based brunch. An afternoon to enjoy the spectacular surroundings:walk, cycle, river dip or simply sit &enjoy, tea &and treats are served for you to enjoy. Grounding afternoon practices, stretch out, restorative yoga and deep guided relaxation (90 minutes) Sunset delicious plant-based dinner shared as a group and then retreat to the cosy lounge, your luxurious room or outside under the stars &waning moon before a restful nights sleep.
Sunday 12 April
Tea and juice greet the day with morning practices, breathwork, meditation &slow yoga flow (90 minutes) Brunch &check out of rooms Grounding yoga practices &taking your retreat home with you (1 hour) closing circle &goodbyes, finish at 2.30pm.
